Steps to get your house ready for Thanksgiving!
A way to guarantee that your Thanksgiving will be a hit is to get your property in good shape!
This is sure to impress all of your guests.
Are your kitchen appliances in good condition? You don’t want to be responsible for cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and your oven goes out. This would put a damper on the Holiday.
Stock up the guest room and the bathroom. Make your family and friends feel comfortable in your home. Have a set of towels laid out for them and anything else they need such as pillows, blankets, toiletries.
Check over the dishes and utensils that you will be using. Make sure there are enough, and that they are in good condition. Wouldn’t want to go set the table and not have enough dishes for all of the guests. Also make sure to build a bigger table… add the leaf to your dining room table if there are enough guests coming.
Clean out where your guest will be looking. Specifically the refrigerator and food pantry. This can save time while looking for items, keep you from embarrassment, and create room for some of the food and leftovers!
Make sure that your house smells refreshing. Although, the food is sure to smell delicious still put a candle out. A candle will also add to the Thanksgiving decor.
Clear the clutter! This means inside and out. Don’t have items sitting on the steps, children’s toys laying around, or blankets. Pick up the leaves in the yard and ditch the dead plants in the pots out front!
After following these steps you are guaranteed to have a nice Thanksgiving gathering!
